School Field Trip & Group Transportation — Tri-Valley

Buses sized to your seated headcount, drivers documented for your files, and one coordinator from planning to the return leg.

  • Licensed & insured · CPUC TCP 30133A
  • 24/7 dispatch
  • Based in Pleasanton

Planned around the people responsible

A field trip is a logistics job with a permission-slip deadline attached. The teacher needs the bus at the loading zone before the first bell, the office needs paperwork for the file, the athletic director needs the team back before dismissal, and everyone needs the headcount to match the seats. We plan those constraints first and quote second.

Our vehicles stage in Pleasanton, so a 6:30am departure from a Livermore, Dublin or San Ramon campus starts with a short positioning run. You get a named coordinator, a written schedule and a dispatch number that a real person answers on the morning of the trip.

What we handle

The parts that usually go wrong

Seated capacity, honestly stated

Your quote names the vehicle and its seated count including chaperones. No standing, no overbooking.

Loading-zone planning

We check access, turning room and where the bus can legally wait before the day, not on arrival.

Paperwork for the file

Insurance certificates, CPUC TCP 30133A authority and driver documentation supplied with the booking.

One coordinator

The same person handles the itinerary, the headcount changes and the day-of calls.

If your district requires a School Pupil Activity Bus driver, read SPAB transportation — it explains what the category covers and how we confirm eligibility for your date before you commit. We do not claim certifications we cannot document.

Adult and corporate groups belong on Tri-Valley charter bus, and airport group transfers on airport transportation. Full capacities are on the fleet page.

Frequently asked questions

How many students fit on one bus?

A shuttle bus seats roughly 25 to 38 and a full-size motorcoach up to 56, including chaperones. We size the vehicle to the seated count you give us — nobody rides without a seat.

Does a field trip need a SPAB-certified driver?

Often, yes, when students are carried to a school activity in a bus other than a yellow school bus. Requirements are explained on our SPAB transportation page, and we confirm what applies to your specific trip before you book.

Can the bus stay with us at the destination?

On an hourly booking, yes. The driver stays with the group, which matters at venues where parking is far from the entrance or the schedule may shift.

How do you handle a change in headcount?

Tell us as soon as you know. Small changes usually fit the same vehicle; a jump past seated capacity means adding a vehicle, and we would rather re-plan a week out than turn students away at the curb.

What documentation do you provide?

Certificates of insurance, CPUC TCP 30133A authority details, and driver and vehicle documentation for school or district files, provided with the confirmed booking.
