In California, carrying students to a school-related activity in anything other than a yellow school bus generally requires a School Pupil Activity Bus (SPAB) driver certificate issued by the California Highway Patrol, with the vehicle inspected to match. Our drivers hold current SPAB certification, our buses carry current CHP safety inspections, and we operate under CPUC TCP 30133A with certificates of insurance available for a district vendor file.
