How to plan a group tasting day
Start later than you think — an 11 a.m. or noon pickup gives tasting rooms time to open properly and keeps the group fresher through the afternoon. Reserve tastings for groups above six, and tell each winery you are arriving by bus so they can direct the driver. Pack water and food; a seated food pairing at one winery changes the whole day for the better.
